Adam Ham is well-known by a myriad of entrepreneurs and leaders of various businesses in Malaysia and the region. He has been prominently featured regularly on the media such as The Star, Malaysia SME, The Malay Mail, News Straits Times as well as international media such as World Screen, Television Asia Plus, C21, The Hollywood Reporter, Variety and many more. Adam’s strength in networking, strategic business thinking, and a strong understanding of the entertainment and business in the area of media entertainment, lifestyle, brand & IP licensing, retail & franchise, education, ICT, F&B, etc. has enabled him to rise above his peers. Equipped with these critical strengths, Adam has been able to make business engagements that bridge various industries together, intending to help Malaysia to become a Top 20 nation in the economic development, social advancement and innovation in the years to come.
Known as the media man, Adam Ham has nurtured his skills and expertise during his previous employment at the Malaysian Government Agency, Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC). He served over a decade in MDEC as the Entertainment & Media Specialist, where he acted as a go-between for Malaysia and over 50 countries. Adam Ham directly contributed to the development of the creative content and media entertainment industry in Malaysia by executing collaboration deals with the Governments of foreign countries. In his time in MDEC, Adam Ham was an advisor to many celebrity figures, artists, producers, and more; it was then that he acquired contacts in the entertainment industry. He advised local celebrities in terms of grant sourcing, funding, PR solutions, and Marketing strategies.
Adam has now coordinated more than 100 international trade shows for both government and private organizations, where he was responsible for putting up the ASEAN business delegations, government relations, exhibition & conference coordination, Business matching, coordination of networking reception, international, PR, and promotions and logistic arrangements. He has coordinated foreign trade missions to CEBIT, Mobile World Congress Barcelona, MIPTV, MIPCOM, HK Filmart, TIFFCOM, Marche du Film (Cannes de Film), Busan Film Festival, MIDEM Music Festival, WOMEX Barcelona, Las Vegas Licensing Expo, American Film Market, KL Converge, ASEAN Economic Community, Asian Animation Summit, Malaysia International Retail & Franchise Expo, and many more.
